Thanks to a tip from a forum member, the Tapatalk banner I refered to in the previous post is actually called the "Tapatalk Smartbanner" and appears on Firefox (and I believe Chrome) browsers by virtue of a setting within this forum. We currently have "Enable Tapatalk Smartbanner" set to Yes, and the help text for that option explains: View AttachmentI've looked around and Googled but to no avail. I did find a ProBoards page that pointed me to an app called 'ProBoards Inc' and said this was available on the app store/play store but I've looked and there isn't. It just brings up Tapatalk. I have never had the banner you mention pop up for this site but I have seen it on other forums. The main thing I wanted it for was notifications. I am on the forum on Android through Chrome and have to refresh the page for notifications etc. I just thought it would make it easier to know when new posts, replies etc were made. Having to keep the pages open in my browser irritates me. No idea why as it doesn't cause anything detrimental to happen. Haha. Anyway thanks for making the effort back in January to resolve this and I appreciate the reasons you will not be pursuing it any longer. Thanks 🖒

It is possible to set notifications by email. They're not terribly reliable, imho, but... That apart, the (NEW) icon next to thread titles works wonders in showing where there's been contributions.

Apparently we are now live in the Tapatalk directory, and a search for p2p should pick us up.
As to whether it is remotely sensible to use Tapatalk given the well documented security flaws is another question altogether, and one that should be given careful consideration.
