Since when is absolute wealth a good measure of inequality anyway. By Oxfam's measure the average student in the UK with a couple of tens of thousands of pounds of debt are less wealthy than an orphan begging for money on the streets of Calcutta, but the long term prospects and quality of life of the two are hugely different. It's just headline grabbing.
