If they did'nt know all of this, they absolutely should have done. The loan profile at LC was, in my opinion, completely misleading, so I'll have all my money back for this loan right now, LC, thank you. Call it in.

Glad to hear it wasn't starting to think that it was all going to go horribly wrong with that one. Saying that I can understand to a certain extent having run my own small business in the past. Sales & Cash Flow over December / January was always lousy. Hopefully things will pick up and problems will fade into distant memory (about a week for me nowadays )

But if you are not too sure and wish to cash in you can't because the opportunity has been 'disabled'. Hopefully just an admin blip to be corrected tomorrow.

Now 2nd of Feb and loan still 'disabled' so now chance of cashing in.
One more control to fix the system so we lenders are unable to make decisions about our own money.

And it is going to stay disabled for now. I contacted lendingcrowd and I received an email which I am quoting here: "When we suspend loan part sales because a Borrower is late with their payment, our policy is for the suspension to remain in place until the next payment is received. If they pay on time on 12 February then the suspension will be lifted." Did anyone know of such policy? I did not. And this adds another negative point for LC.

Seems quite reasonable to me. Whilst I appreciate the chance to bail out of a late paying loan on FC as soon as it finally coughs up (perhaps just days before the next payment is due), I always do so at a small premium to avoid completing stuffing an innocent Autobiddy.

Very thoughtful, except that on LC you cannot choose the rate you wish to sell at or even when.
Just one more control - just waiting to be told that mummy knows best and it is for our own good anyway.

Due date been and gone, again. Gives him all weekend to come up with a new lot of dodgy excuses for Monday.
In the meantime we have no chance of recouping our money until those nice people at LC stop believing the guff and start legal proceedings.

This loan is late again on its payment. There are also two questions that have not been answered. Since the borrower or lendingcrowd do not honour us with a reply I think it is important to air them here. Perhaps someone else will think of an answer. Question 1. W***a So, I could copy and paste your "Why are we safe to lend to?" answer but there doesn't seem to be any point. The latest update from LendingCrowd completely contradicts everything you said. I would like to take you up on your offer: "If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask me on here or call me on my mobile." Basically, I want to known you are going to honour your debts? I see the you've just become MD of a property company. I can't imagine they'll be too happy when they discover you don't honour your debts. Question 2. ABlender When will you start making the payments regularly? (i.e. on time) Anyone or lendingcrowd can give an answer or extract a reply from the borrower please?

The credit rating of this company is pretty dire so clearly paying on time/at all is not the modus operandi of this guy.

That question was made by W***a and remains unanswered. I do not have his mobile number otherwise I would give him a call.
