I chased this one as it'd been ages since they last updated and got a response today- should be some updates in the next couple of weeks - they've had the first of some agreed token payments last week but apparently wont pay out until they've got a whole installment in line with the original schedule. Not sure if I think of that as good news or bad really  The guy is clearly a Bob Cryer. Should have done the repossession when they had the chance. When somebody tells you 100 lies why believe the 101st?

To be fair to Lending Crowd their default performance has been pretty good lately and you could argue this one was an initial teething problem. Still if they had an eviction order against somebody who has repeatedly not been true to their word, they should have used it rather than accepting a small amount and a promise that the rest would be delivered a few months later.

Oh come on, kicking down the road again. Now waiting for him to refinance property. Why didn’t they repossess when had chance. Have people read the administrators report, suspicious payments to director.
Quite frankly bored of this case, spent too much time and energy on it for what for me was personally quite a small loss. This is the sort of borrower though that really annoys me, plays the system at every step. Lending crowd shouldn’t have let him.

Which is slightly worrying as that appears to be how much I was getting from the "weekly" payments that happened for a few weeks and then stopped, so I hope they've not been conned into thinking the borrower will now pay those regularly again.
