Am I alone in disliking early repayments?
I see it like this - I put a lot of effort into carrying out my own DD but I do so as I know the return on offer should I choose to invest.
An early repayment means that I earn less than I originally thought I would, so my DD effort becomes "unpaid".
I accept that early return may be attractive to some, but collecting essentially "the contracted sum in total" is more important to me.
Thoughts?

I do dislike them - but is a feature of Ratesetter - and Ratesetter is my favoured, most trusted platform so i tend to take it on the chin.
I haven't studied it in detail but presumably if you are lucky enough to take advantage of a spike in rates then you are more likely to have early repayments as the borrower is on a bad deal? So this would be the second downside in lurking around hoping for a high rate?

The only early repayment we need to talk about here is a certain H*F* company loan and the sooner they repay the Fxxxxxx better. What a total shambles.
