I've just received an email from HMRC. The opening line is:
"Great news. We have reviewed your tax return status. You are now due some refunds. Click here to complete returns..."
Does anybody think this might not be genuine?
I don't mind the occasional attempt to scam, but I object to the effort insulting anybody with a two-digit IQ.
Off the cuff, has anybody else ever received "Great news" from HMRC?
