I understand that Mosscliff Enviromnental Limited is in liquidation, which may have been triggered by the early termination of the subsidy regime. Mosscliff is/was the contractor engaged to procure, install, and maintain many of the wind turbines funded on AC (and other platforms).
I am not too worried about this where the turbines have already been installed. Other maintenance providers should be available. But I don't think they have all got to that stage.
Please could AC update us as to the position on all affected loans.
[Mods - I am putting this on the pink board because I cannot find evidence that it is in the public domain although this surprises me. I'd prefer it to be on the public board if poss.] Has now been moved - thank you.

I would think that discussing Mosscliff in relation to a group of loans is not a problem because Mosscliff is not (any more) one of our borrowers. Naming of K****** on public pages would not be allowed.

Like pikestaff, where a wind turbine is generating already, I am not that concerned - other maintenance contractors will step in. I asked a QnA about one of the loans (N***h L****n WT) because it was not clear to me who was the maintenance contractor.

kermie my notes (haven't checked) tell me that it was Enercon (the turbine manufacturer/supplier & also the party that erected it). If that's so then nothing to worry about. I have a big holding in that loan (& am often distracted) so feel free to poke me if any news :-) (ever!) :-)) ..might doze off for a few mnths now.. ;-0

chris , I think the "Last update" column is not working, judging by 23rd Sep latest specified on 90, despite kermie's Q yesterday. In fact the sys says no loans updated today..

I thought the last update was currently designed to show only ANSWERS as an update (to avoid frustration when people see an "update", and it's only someone asking a question like "what happened to the update we were due to have had?")

Given the LTV and good generation for that loan, I am pretty relaxed - in fact, am still trying to increase my holding. I suspected it was not Mosscliff given they are mentioned explicitly in all credit reports where relevant (I hope!), but good to hear the name of the actual company.

Does anyone recall the details about what was happening with Carmarthenshire?

Does anyone recall the details about what was happening with Carmarthenshire? We will find out in due course. My notes tell me to avoid this one: (i) generation is well below expectation at 60% at best. (ii) Water ingress early on (iii) Requiring subsidy from K*******. (iv) Maintenance by Mosscliff - who have gone bust. All in all, I decided to walk away from that one.
