Highly unlikely in the Fc context, as you said elsewhere I doubt anyone there would recognise one.

... and deadly embraces never happen at all, coz you never have to wait for anything... certainly not some punter getting his dosh back so he can rebid it.

Interestingly, the official forum seems to be enjoying much lighter moderation these days - borrowers' names mentioned, frequently followed by some derogatory comment, serious criticism of FC's handling of defaulters left intact for all to read, polite explanations given where the mods have deleted part of a post; more comments/info from team members. Interesting!

I'd never noticed much of the heavy handed stuff people have complained about - the heaviest handed thing I saw them do was take down the old indie forum without due regard to preserving members data, or giving them half a chance to prepare afore hand. They are still not very good at actually answering questions/criticism, or keeping folks informed .. however they ARE getting better (barely possible they could get worse).

Or just the skins caused them to slip up (smirk).  ed. 72 hours to update simple forum functionality?  ?? Just who are they employing? (Has anyone seen the loans "tres ordinaire" on offer today?) ed. again...and yes, I am on the official forum.... heavily disguised....and haven't been booted off.... and I haven't broken it!

I was thinking more of their poor credit records (despite FC's website assuring us of "healthy" Experian Credit scores) rather than final high rates, and their lack of answers to questions regarding their accounts. I've had a day off.

Just a note to say that it is now really, officially, down!! More customers for us here, I guess... I just love FC's idea of 'scheduled maintenance', which means that they have found problems unexpectedly and have had to take it down for 3 days to fix it. I suppose if it crashes completely and all content and user data is lost then that might just about be 'unscheduled maintenance'.
