Another strong vote for a white/very light background. Much easier for ageing eyes lol.
As this is the personal dashboard view, I think the lower sections titled "investments" should be either "opportunities" or "available loans". Investments (to me) are what I already have. I quite like the existing "torus chart" or what ever it is called as it gives an instant picture of the diversity of my portfolio - a key parameter for me. I'm not a great fan of the investment Vs time chart in the top right. If you must have it, then it should use less of the available space. Maybe a chart of return rate Vs time might be interesting to try.
Although a newbie to Ablrate so Ive not experienced the problem areas of the current site, existing bugs should be fixed first before moving to a new format and potentially introducing new ones.

Here's a stab at an "ideal" set of Dashboard figures, incorporating james ' request for the IRR and also active SM offers. The sub-heading items (those not in bold) could possibly be accessed via a "Show Details" toggle if you want to keep the appearance clean, but they do need to be accessible. Excellent stevet... thanks

And all that numbers clickable to see detailed reports: by year, month And also: * Unique id for each loan - as mentioned before * Sorting on every column on every table * On all loan pages unified borrower name clickable to a borrower summary page, that lists all his future/current/past loans, your exposure in each, your total exposure and % of one whole portfolio * summary page with ones exposure per borrower / sector ect Hmm... this thread turned into 'Features request thread' ablrate Regarding your response to my first comment: thanks. If this is a separate stream of work than fine. Let the designers fiddle with the design and the users/owners argue on the shade of gray or sizes of dots... In the meantime let the developers fix the bugs, add the important features, then nice to have ones

As the colour scheme seems to be a personal thing, how about providing a list of selectable style sheets, some with dark backgrounds others with white backgrounds.

I like the simplicity of the existing design and it seems to me that most people agree. I vote you stick with what you have and improve it by adding additional info. / features. Maybe work on the SM which I find to be a pain.
Platforms seem eager to change what's already working fine (Property partner for example) which I know to be costly and I'm not sure why they do it. I don't think you need to go down the same road.
