Hi All We have a few updates coming soon, and we have also been toying with some new designs... Thought I would get some feedback. This is the potential future dashboard... minus the spelling errors.... Attachment Deleted

I come from the KISS & don't fix what ain't broke school, by all means introduce improvements & fix problems but remember sourcing, issuing, monitoring & enforcing loans is the pre eminent reason your platform exists - seen too many others lose their way with supposed IT developments aimed at improving user experience, although I do think your SM would benefit from fundamental redesign!

Immediate impression - not great visually.
Colours / background all too samey - no distinction/contrast. Feels like I need to turn the brightness up.
Much prefer the current one for readability.
Text, particularly the grey is not exactly 'popping'.
Layout and extra info looks good though !
Will the amortising loans display correctly after the update?

Thanks for the feeback, I think our SM is a bit marmite, you either love it or you hate it. Ablrate

I actually much prefer the existing one... Not a fan of the black theme... hard to read.

Immediate feedback is that blue on black is near impossible to read on a phone screen in daylight, so further thought will have to wait until I get back to the PC. And I like Marmite

Additional features look good, but I always thought your current dashboard was a bit dark. And you're proposing to make it darker?

Will give all the feeback to the designers and keep working. Amortising fix should be on the way... waiting for an update. Regards Ablrate

Dark text on a white / light background worked well for Gutenberg and has stood the test of time pretty well Suggest you refer the web designers to David Ogilvy's views on the readability of "white out of black" (can't imagine what he'd have said about "blue out of black"!)

Far too dark (using good monitored 17" laptop). Looks like IT are trying to be "cool"! Well, you did ask

As long as the website performs the essential "nuts and bolts" I'm not too keen on "elegant" features. I evaluate a platform on how well the core activity is managed.

Agree with others, functionality over fashion. Would rather see the amortising loan bug fixed over any plastic surgery.

I like the information available, covers most of what I look for on 'quick visits' all on one screen. Couple of 'details' If an investment is 'featured' do you need to state that it has a status of 'open' (a pedant would say open for what?) ...... or will this section be used for upcoming loans as well ? Whilst maintaining a std no of decimal places is generally good, 3 for the interest rate? Whilst I can understand the psychology of having an 'add funds' and no 'withdraw funds' button it does look a little one sided. On my PC the contrast at the bottom right corner (PRESS FAQ etc) is very poor - easily missed.

Yet another vote against black screen with blue writing Being of the older generation. I now always avoid all Sony Products as they insist of labling their products with grey print on a black background. I can't read what the knobs are for without glasses. Therefore I don't buy Sony. Your proposed 'improvement' feels the same. Currently I don't have to put glasses on . 'Improved' needs glasses . Not good.
