Windfarm is definitely there, just re-tasked a satellite to do a quick fly past of 55°38'21.0 N 5°33'29.8 W. Turbines are in white, the black is the shadows they are casting. Thats gotta be a breach of forum rules - using a satellite to spy on a borrower. P2P Snoopers charter

Checked the rules and no mention of satellites. Just changing the focus settings now to look for flying pigs

Windfarm is definitely there, That windfarm lies well to the east of the watershed; I suspect that the estate does not extend that far east. Update: according to the OS map that windfarm lies on Forestry Commission land.

Nice image of Deucharan Hill. Is that now part of the estate or this loan? It's well east of the plan shown. edit: Oh! am has beaten me to it while I was gawping at maps

So looking at the plan you can (I think) clearly see the 3 parts, that have been separated, and then bought back by our purchaser. It look's like the purchaser has bought everything listed under the "additional property". However, that does not seem to include the 452 acres of hill ground which adjoins it to the east, but the owner will have rights of pre-emption to this; I can't see this mentioned in the valuation; but does seem to be indicated on the site plan (the crisscross section?) It's also interesting to note, that the security includes a 30 year lease of sporting rights on circa 2,100 acres of adjacent hill and woodland (this is not indicated on the Sale Plan) So, I can see...... Killean Estate : 613 acres Killean & Dalmore Farms : 445 acres Giving a total of 1028 acres........ I need some local knowledge here highlandtiger ! What part of the plan is in addition to the above (i.e. the missing 415 acres); would they be using the pre-emption land indicated above?

So, I've been carrying out some research (I have a tad too much time on my hands ) Below I have guesstimated the locations of the three parts that were listed on right move. The missing 415 acres seems to be located to the east (which is of interest, as the plan highlights it, with 2 different methods), however I can't determine what this land comprises of from the estimate. Earlier I guessed that some of this highlighted land detailed the 452 acres which the owner has rights of pre-emption; now I wonder if all the highlighted area is in fact, this "pre-emption" land? So I'm still missing 415 acres, but at least now I know where it is.....

Well chaps, being a keen hiker with time on my hands, I have decided to check it out in person. As soon as the weather improves, which could take some time.... Edit....Pictures of said wind turbines can be found if you research the Kintyre way walk. :-)

"Git orf moi laaaand!" Look, mate, unless you pay that loan back, this'll be my land soon... Won't happen in Scotland due to the Right to Roam legislation. Landowner can't stop you crossing his land providing you do it responsibly. Different laws in Scotland on this to the rest of the UK. You have the right to access most land and inland water including mountains, moorland, woods and forests, grassland, fields, rivers and lochs, coastal areas, most parks and open spaces, golf courses (to cross them); day and night, providing you do so responsibly.

Neither. It's the largest pre-fund yet for a loan over £4m (ie. of a size where lenders were always likely to get most of what they asked for). The last one of a similar size, PBL073, had a pre-fund total estimated at just £2.3m. See Investor 's invaluable list: p2pindependentforum.com/post/60487/thread Investor .. That really is a very useful table, but would be even better if it included the number of investors in the loan at the launch (so we could see how PF was scaling, or not, with the number of punters, and whether some of the loans were more popular than others). I wonder if that info is still available, or lost in the mists of time? GSV3MIaCBetter late than never. Table has been updated with the investor numbers for the loan today and PBL084. If anyone has any historical info I will be happy to include that as well. Sure someone might have time to search old 'go live' posts to see if numbers were mentioned, but certainly not me.
