I have just arranged an online transfer of funds to me saving stream account. When will these funds appear in the account and be available for lending?

They usually apply them in a morning however not always on a weekend, sometimes do and sometimes do not so do not expect it to be there until Monday.
Although it does not matter as you can buy things and pay for them later they give you about 48 hours to pay then they cancel it

Typically next working day, but you don't have to wait until then to lend .. you can lend what you haven't yet got, as long as it gets there within 48 hours.
