For sold parts, I believe the interest stops accruing when you list it for sale, not when it is sold? Yep. When you list a part for sale, it tells you that in the pop-up "OK-without-reading" box.

My inital interest payment answer was a preemptive strike on the inevitable monthly 'why hasnt my interested appeared' thread so hadnt gone much beyond that and while I right understand what i am saying it might not be clear to others as I have a particular way of mangling the English language so any comments re-phasing always welcome. cooling_dude DFL/PBL answer added, see what you think, trying to get my head round how SS are going to handle DFL |

Lot's of if buts and maybes in regards to how SS are going to manage DFLs, but I think your summery is (as always) very good.
Maybe just a warning that the details in regards to DFLs are yet to be fully explained by SS

One very minor point on the same topic, I think the bit in brackets (in which the loan part is sold) should say (in which the loan part is listed for sale). In theory it is possible that a loan part could be listed for sale, say, on the penultimate day of the month, but not actually sold until the following month. Nonetheless, I think the seller would still get interest paid at the end of the month in which the loan part was listed for sale.

A new investor on SS. A couple of questions if anyone can help please. On the SS platform. On investor activity - is that always buys or sell parts too. Why do small transactions ie. 1p, 50p appear, and,. Does the SM have a separate tab somewhere or are monies available on SM those monies still available in Live Loans.
