Received my weekly update by email this afternoon (Tuesday 1/3/2016). It starts off: "This is your Zopa account update as of Sunday 28 Jan 2016". Come on Zopa, does nobody check these things? That is really poor. But it gets worse! Lower down in the email where it says "Snapshot of last week", the figures given for repayments and interest received during the week do not agree, by some margin, with the figures shown on the website under "Your weekly update". As far as I can tell, the figures on the website are correct, whereas those in the email appear to be the figures of repayments and interest received just for Wednesday to Sunday (24 Feb to 28 Feb instead of 22 Feb to 28 Feb). I think it is quite shocking that such erroneous figures can be sent out. Unfortunately we have come to expect this of Zopa; standards really are slipping. If they cannot get it right, there is little point in sending out the information. No doubt we will receive, in due course, a bland message saying that, for technical reasons, the information in the email is incorrect. But you heard it here first!
