Unusually this loan has been defaulted on a Monday - apparently FC do sometimes default on days other than Thursday if it is necessary to do it urgently (so I was told when I phoned them to check).  |

Thank you all for your musical responses - it hasn't lessened the pain of the default but has cheered me up a lot. It is not my first default and won't be the last (I'm sure) but I'd got used to bracing myself for Thursdays - now it seems any day is fair game. I would have liked to add my own contribution but I am totally unmusical and couldn't possibly compete with the brilliant and wide-ranging contributions so far. Many thanks.
