I was making a search (for a particular SS loan, so just looking for 99)

nothing happened (if i used the mouse I got the search options dialogue). by trial and error I discovered that 2 characters is not enough.

Please (or please ask proboards) to allow 2 character searches.
Failing that at least produce an error message

I often undertake searches which identify any posts containing 'MT' which works well by typing ' MT ' [note the space before and after the MT bit making it 4 characters long] in the search field 'with all the words'.

I was using the search box at the top right, see screenshot. Thanks for directing my attention to the professional search in the top menu, which does the trick very nicely.

PS Mods my miniscule moan still stands in that there is an error with no message.
