I can't find a thread for this but would be surprised if it is just me: If I click on 'transaction statements' under 'my statements' on my summary page and look at my March 2016 statement, I get the message below. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Clicking on 'download statement' gives a 502 error. I have another account which is fine, but this particular account has behaved this way in approximately alternate months for more than a year. Unusually I have had some decent recovery payments recently which was what I was interested in looking at!

When you ask for the transaction statement, the system makes an heavy (and presumably not optimised) query to a dB (not sure if they work on a live dB or a replica). If the query exceeds for ny reason cannot connect properly to that dB section or if the server is under too much strain the query returns nothing and shows you a blank list. It is a clear DB query issue. Try at a different time/day. My problem solved when I looked at it at a quiter time (very early in the morning).

I'll try, but I am not sure your explanation is compatible with one of my accounts being fine and one giving this behavior.

This is a known fault which has been raised many times with FC, for example through their regular request for website issues on their forum. They have no scheduled fix and are not bothered. You can ask customer services for a download they say. Some inconsiderate lenders cause too many transactions and by some point in the month the file becomes too large for FC to cope.

We don't have enough information on this, but if the load was too high they might have clustered users on different machines, so it is possible that some will work and some will have problems.

I am one of those inconsiderate lenders - I have more money in FC than I would now like and it is well diversified. I am trying to reduce it but that is creating even more transactions. By the 15th/16th of each month the transactions report stops working for me (has been doing this since last August). I email / phone customer support and they send me a manual transaction report. However I haven't had a reply yet this week so have no clear idea what has happened on my account since late on Sunday evening. I believe there have been a couple of recovery payments (hallelujah) and my number of loan parts is wrong compared to my spreadsheet so I'm assuming there have been early repayments. Some of the late payers may also have paid up (I can hope ), but I have no idea. The only way I can think of fixing this is to reduce my number of loan parts even faster than I was already doing. I have emailed and provided feedback on many occasions but it appears that FC IT are not going to fix this. An easy solution would be to give us the option to download one days worth of transactions at a time instead of the whole month - but it doesn't look like this is going to happen any time soon. Not being able to readily check the balance and status of the various parts of my collection of loan parts for half of the month is a pain in the proverbial

Me too, one of many reasons I am off over the hill. It also doesn't appear to just be one month's transactions that it trawls through, and if customer services send you a report you can see that the main transaction log (which you only get an extract of) has huge numbers in it (every knocked out bid in the old days), and also has a 'start' and 'completed' date/time for each transaction (so your loan offer in Nov turns into a completed new part bought in Dec). Short version - if Customer service send you 'December' transactions is may not be the same as the one you'd extract yourself, it may or may not have some things which started in Nov, and/or some which didn't complete until Jan. Even shorter version: SNAFU .. b***dy awful for a supposed financial services / technology company.
