Is there a procedure for reporting dodgy ads (e.g. the millionth visitor scam that I'm seeing) to the moderators?

Proboards doesn't like it, but ads are, of course, blockable. 'Scam' ads are bad, some of the drive-by-malware (not that I've seen any on these boards, but I have elsewhere) is positively horrid - anti-virus at the ready!

That is what I usually do until they start blaring out of the speakers and the least opportune time. I work with audio and therefore I cannot turn my speakers off, but AdBlock works wonders. When I am told that audio adverts have been banned I can remove this extension and the forum can start raising some needed funds. Mods/Admin, let me know.

...and the forum can start raising some needed funds. ...which don't actually go to the p2p forum, but to proboards. It's the price of a "free" (plus options) host.

I keep getting diverted from this site to a site I can spin to win a new phone, and it won't let me back arrow to this site. I use chrome on my Android phone. It's really irritating, any ideas how to stop this?

Would only make money if you actually click on them which I never do on any site, I have never been intrested and turn blind eye to them but even if I was I would do a google search rather then click on the link

Now I've downloaded the Adblock Browser, and access the forum through it, I haven't seen it again.

There is no stop button. If you see the picture that I added to one of the posts, showing the advert after it was turned off, the stop/play button is stretched all over the advert so you cannot avoid not clicking on it. That is why it is so annoying, and I hope that the people who host these fora read all this. I am very happy to discuss this directly if they are ready to take the discussion in public.

I only know about iOS, where that is not so: double click on the Home button, force quit Safari, go to Settings/Safari and "Clear History and Website Data". I would guess there is a similar method on Android.

Does the browser not open to the same place it was when it was closed?

Actually, derp, not had my first cup of tea yet. I either close the tab, or close the tab and the browser. I'll take a note the next time I get one of those annoying "mobile" adds.
