After a longer than expected delay (!) the amortising loans are now fixed and your correct capital amount is now reflected both in your "Current Investments" and in your "Total Funds Lent".
Note than when trading these loans on the secondary market now, you input the amount of CURRENTLY OWED capital that you wish to invest in or sell.

Hi ablrateandyAny joy with fixing the 'interest total' error resorting from the initial double payment of the ATR tranche 1? The erroneous amount seems to still be displayed on the dashboard.

Can I ask a question with regards to Amortising loans please ablrate ablrateandy- I understand that part of the capital is paid back as well as the interest each month. As some of the capital is being paid back, does that mean my amount invested in the loan is reduced each month?

Yes indeed. And accrued interest is only paid on the remaining capital outstanding.

I am confused, I don't think I have seen any of the amount I have invested in my Ablrate loans decrease, but I am receiving capital payments - does it mean when the loan completes I just don't receive any capital back?

Until last week the dashboard "Funds Currently Lent" figure was not reducing when a capital payment was made in an amortising loan (eg. the SE*B loan). However this was fixed in the new release so your funds lent will have reduced by the value of any past capital payments and will keep reducing every time another capital payment is made.

Sorry yes and thanks SteveT . Previously we were working off the "notional" loan size. Now we correctly account for it in your Funds Currently Lent. In the secondary market mostly it or sell the remaining amount of capital, which is much more straightforward than the old way.

Yes, your capital invested will reduce and Ltv will will fall over term albeit potentially alongside equipment depreciation too.
