Hi ablrateandyCan you confirm please the way of bidding on this loan, will it be pledges or straight forward first come basis? Also, just to note that 1pm on a Tues after a bank holiday doesn't give people much time to liquidate funds elsewhere, receive them into their bank account and send onto Ablrate (although your debit card deposit is fast, withdrawals from other platforms might not be done by 1pm). Even a slightly later start time, say 4pm, would help a little

Is it just me, or is this loan not visible on the platform yet?

They dont usually appear on site before launch (or pledging start) I agree with pledging, but other loans which were fff or simply filled over time were on the site some time before being open as I recall. The more time the better the chances of DD etc. As for the comparison with containers, those were all significantly smaller. There is plenty of other open options right now, so I don't expect this to be gone in minutes, but I do expect it could be relatively quick.

The more time the better the chances of DD etc. I dont think the site allows previewing at the moment, certainly dont remember the bottles being available in advance, though details have been provided early in emails if I recall correctly Overall we are looking at ways to have investors view loans before they come on board to get a sense of how popular they will be, perhaps using our scheduled loan system more widely.. but we will keep you updated on that. Dont think anything has been updated in that respect since this post.

I am pleased that this loan is coming and have funded the account.
Request to Albrate: the first repayment is due on the plane loan 532 is due on 29th and I and others may wish to include the payment on the new loan. Would you make the repayment promptly please?
I do not expect the new loan to last the afternoon.

I'm fairly new to p2p and up to now have only funded interest only loans. How is the interest calculated for tax reasons on a repayment loan? In other words how do you know how much of the monthly repayment is capital and how much is interest?
