As many here will know, SS provide an "Investor Activity" tab with each loan, which relates to recent activity on that particular loan, providing a date, an encrypted investor name, and an amount. I may be missing something obvious (wouldn't be the first time ) , but is there any way of telling whether the "amount" refers to a buy order or a sell order ? Thanks

I don't think it matters, because it isn't an 'order', it's a transaction. So someone sold, and someone bought, the amount shown. I believe the ID shown is that of the buyer.

I believe the ID shown is that of the buyer. It is, or at least it is when I buy. What I can't fathom out though is the display is the first letter of my christian name with a series of stars followed by the last letter of my surname. How then can we get names that end in a number?

Its your email address, the bit before the @ I never thought of that. It also explains why the number of stars doesn't represent the number of letters in my name (which I didn't mention first time).

I asked myslef the same question the other day. It does matter if you want to see sale orders to attempt to track the "selling queue" which is what I was after but since it refers to transactions...

I believe that they will tweak your login if you contact them though... People more familiar than I with that platform over in the fs board may be able to confirm.
