Hi guys, i found this platform: blackmoonfg.comAccording to their website, they operate in 5 currencies, 7 countries and work with 9 loan originators. I have searched our Forum but have not found anything on them. Does anyone have heard of them, or maybe got experience with them ? Thanks for your feedback.

Did you understand where they are based? They're a bit coy about it, aren't they? The site has contact addresses in Delaware, Cyprus and Moscow, with the Cypriot phone number given as the main. The domain name registration is to an Andrey Stolbovsky, with an obscured Parisian address - presumably some kind of redirection service. That name comes up with a LinkedIn profile for the CTO of Blackmoon, based in St Petersburg. The profile of Oleg Seydak, the CEO of Blackmoon, doesn't give a city, but does say he's based within Russia. Most other Blackmoon LinkedIn profiles are within Russia, apart from one in Spain and one in New Jersey. The Investment Director gives his base as Limassol and Moscow. The "nine originators in seven countries" appear to involve partnerships with platforms in Russia, Poland, Latvia, Poland, Czech, Finland and Georgia - together with the three countries our old friends at Bondora operate in. I make that eight partners in nine countries in all, with Finland crossing-over between Bondora and Fellow Finance.

They seem to be copying the Mintos model of providing a marketplace for balance sheet lenders to finance their loans, however they also appear to be reselling loans of other P2P Platforms. Not much detail about how it all works on the site.

On my question regarding minimum commitment size for investors I got this reply: Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, conceptually Blackmoon and Mintos have similar approaches. But technically our solutions are very different. Blackmoon works with institutional investors and all processes are focused to meet needs of investors with investment size of EUR 1M+.
