Anybody else noticed an anomaly with this loan today (9/04/16). Overnight my holding has reduced by 0.57ish% with no trades, as it has been suspended for ages. Also, the accrued interest went DOWN not up! no repayments have been made for quite some time.

Interesting that the reduction in holding is balanced (almost) by the gain in accrued interest. chris : has their been some correction of the past allocation of principal and interest? And I'm thinking of something similar, recently, that affected loan #40.

I'm not aware of anything, will check with the team on Monday. There is a test in place to try and make sure the situation with #40 doesn't repeat itself so if this has happened again I'll need to work out why the test didn't pick it up.

After 245 viewings there is obviously others here interested in this loan.......I am just pleased at one person has owned up and confirmed my statement.......a similar occurrence happened to another distressed loan last year, but no-one else admitted to being as foolish as me to have invested in that one and although I was told it would be looked into, I never got an explanation. As I wasn't heavily into it I just let it go.

If you look at the repayments tab, there seems to be some kind of issue that AC's systems can't add up.
In particular, the original loan amount was £210,000, the principal repayments to date total £74,709.57, which a normal calculator would suggest left £135,290.43 remaining, but AC's systems couldn't add up, and now show £134,514.60 remaining.
As AC's systems have added up the wrong amount for the principal oustanding, each person's share of it will have gone down by the same proportion.
Cue an argument between AC's IT and Admin departments about which part of AC's systems (the automated part or the human part [and if so which department's human part!]) was the cause of this error... [edit: and/or which of the respective parts of the system should have been responsible for detecting and correcting the error before end-users noticed it!]

chris definitely something wrong. Occurred between 8th and 9th april, by the same %ge as reported above (holding reduced for no reason) and accrued interest wound back to a lower figure too.

After 4.5 working days this has not been corrected. It was chased this morning and the ledger updated, however I'll refresh all the loan units now to make sure the change has taken effect. Please check again in 10 mins or so.

I have just noticed my MLIA account total has gone down and traced the anomaly to this loan. Apparently according to the Repayments page an unexpected amount was paid off the principal on 03/03/17. I can find no evidence of a payment being made to my MLIA account. I have queried this twice now on the Q/A page, both times the question has been deleted and I have had no explanation from AC
