Are people being accepted onto the private board?
Reason I ask is I emailed the relevant details to enquiries@assetzcapital.co.uk on 6th April and I've still not had a response other than the automated reply. I'd really like to access the board.

The last batch of requests the forum received from AC was on 4th April.
If you have lent funds on AC, then send them another email, messages can get eaten by a spam filter all too easily.

May I ask why there is a private board? No other platform seems to have one. What needs to be discussed privately on AC that can't be discussed publicly?

Just double checked and I chased them up on the 13th. I'll chase them up again if you think it'll help

I have emailed them three times, 24/3 after the email update on the shambles that is loan #35, then again 1/4 and 6/4. I have had no response whatsoever. Somewhat discourteous I think. Time to send them another email.

May I ask why there is a private board? No other platform seems to have one. What needs to be discussed privately on AC that can't be discussed publicly? To quote from a document that has been seen by many of the larger platforms:
"The Assetz Capital Private Board was created to fulfil a desire to discuss distressed loans by lenders in those loans whilst keeping details of actions being taken in the background to turn the situation around away from the prying eyes of google (etc) crawlers and hence out of the public domain. AC are one of a very few platforms that conduct votes amongst lenders on the strategic direction their handling of distressed loans should go, and crowd due diligence of the available options is both warranted and desirable. It is also worth noting that under certain circumstances AC permit trade in some of the distressed loans, fair value for which may be below par value but discussion of the reasons for which could not easily happen on a public forum. (Arguably the ThinCats Wordpress based forum serves a similar function for ThinCat lenders)"
Discussion of distressed loans in public could result in a reduced recovery for lenders.

Thanks, I'm quite happy that I'm don't need access then!
