Would still be nice to get a line or 2 from savingstream as to why the launch was delayed ...... They commented a couple of pages back that it was due to them wanting to wait for the Valuation report See HereEDIT : Beaten to it by dp

What three lines too verbose for you p2pindependentforum.com/post/110955/threadEdit you got three replies as well Incidently anybody found any major change in the valuation other than the rewriting to reflect the new recipient/scenario?

No trouble picking up the difference earlier on.

Would still be nice to get a line or 2 from savingstream as to why the launch was delayed ...... One day delay and people are unhappy? I dream of the day when AC can forecast drawdown dates to this accuracy. I prefunded twice what I wanted and got 60%. That must mean I've got a bit spare tucked under the mattress.

Not me for sure. Allocation wasn't far off what I expected. I'd have kept whatever I got even if 100%. I'm still a little ways off fully invested.............. The point was more aimed at the need for good and timely communication (or lack of).

Yep a word of two before they vanished last night would have been appreciated much more than a paragraph or two the next day. They knew when they went home, everyone else was hanging around waiting in case it was 'a few hours late' rather than 'next day'.

N.B. We reserve the right to cancel or extend this go live date if required. says it on every go live warning... does everyone really expect SS personnel to be online all the time. edit.. Prefund.. sit back.. relaxxxxxx... and pour yourself a brandy.

I dream of the day when AC can forecast drawdown dates to this accuracy. I think agent69 -- and probably others -- are forgetting that SS's 'go live' date is not the same as drawdown. SS set their loans live at a time of their own choosing -- when they're willing to start paying interest -- and that's inevitably before drawdown. Drawdown comes some time after that, and on occasion doesn't come at all. So SS have a much easier task than AC do, since drawdown timing is a lot harder to predict.

I think some are suggesting that the day delay with this loan going live was tolerable. I do agree to a some extent; however it's the communication from SS which concerns me; it takes a couple of minutes to send an e-mail, and the same amount of time to post on these forums. There are many implications that could result due to lack of communication from SS (for example, due to the above scenario) one of which is that we speculate on no new information. The result of which could be harmful to the platform... In the future savingstream , please just drop us a quick e-mail .

Yep, but it doesn't say 'we reserve the right not to say anything more to you about this'. 8>. No I don't expect them to be online 24/7 (though I bet they have a link from home), nor do I expect them to get all the dates right all the time. That's be unreasonable. What I do expect, which I think is quite reasonable, is for them to send an update saying 'oops, as we said we might, we missed the intended timeslot .. our best estimate now is %new date%' .. as soon as they know that's the case, or before they go home .. I'd settle for either.

I live across the pond from the Isle of Wight and know there is much demand for care homes so I'm surprised they have the Housing Association agreement. I've just dipped my toes in with this one too. I think this is a reasonably safe investment.

now IA status
this is the one that was bought in 2016 for £2,750,000 but theres £3.25m out on the purchase, and there isnt a valuation report (?) as the valuation company has been marketing it for sale since it was bought, its still on the website.
Anyone know what the planning issue is?
