Above my pay grade - I'd assume so but it would be down to andrewholgate and others in the business. Yes. I won't break my pledge on that.

I've made a change to compromise that I really hope doesn't trip anyone up. Pre-bids will now only be counted on auctions where there is a known start date. If auctions do not have a known start date, i.e. they're in an extended preview state, then pre-bids will not affect how your funds are used elsewhere. This will hopefully be much closer to expected behaviour with fewer people getting confused. Thanks for doing this. AI is now working for me again.

Will those be put on hold until these loans that have reverted to pre-bid status are either drawn down or declared irrevocably dead?

Well that seems like a good change.

Just a heads-up. I've been using AI for the Ip***** loan - of which there's a bunch of units for sale at the moment (because it's very near the end of its term).
I set up AI to sell down to a target of £x some time ago. Then I decided more recently that I didn't want to sell quite down quite as far as '£x', so I increased the target amount appropriately. But (and I think this is where I went wrong), I didn't check the "buy" checkbox - which meant that AI could not remove some of my loan units from the market and 'buy' them back. I didn't quite appreciate that I needed to allow AI to "buy" them back, because in my head I hadn't actually sold them - only put them up for sale (not quite the same thing!)
Upshot: I didn't realise this at the time, and AI just a few mins ago sold more units than I had wanted it to! Thankfully no harm done - I just bought back in by hand and then sorted out the AI target.
There's always more to learn ;-)

I'm sure I've described that elsewhere but agree it is confusing. For the site relaunch we've actually just made the decision to change this behaviour. Instead of setting a target and then adjusting it you'll expressly increase or decrease your holdings by a set amount. Loan units being sold by AI's successor will also stop being sold if you disable AI or take away sale permissions. So permissions operate on a continuous basis, as most lenders expect, rather than at a point in time when the AI settings are changed.

There is a string of (unanswered!) emails to enquiries@assetzcapital.co.uk from me where AI sold a considerable chunk that I wasn't expecting. I agree this needs to change ASAP so I look forward to the site refresh. I'll chase up those emails as I'm pretty sure they've not been received, possibly blocked by the spam filter, as I was under the impression there wasn't a backlog of emails to reply to.

Could you PM Dominic with them please, as he's currently trying to get to the bottom of which emails have been missed / blocked. If you PM on here then that should definitely reach him.
