Interest is accrued in one day chunks at midnight. I don't know if you are taxed when interest is accrued or when it is paid. I'd imagine it's when it's paid but that's a completely uneducated guess.

...and the units just keep coming. As soon as some are sold, others replace them Yes j1 I've see nine different Lenders selling a total of 3.12k today and I missed what Merlin sold unless he lends under a pseudonym for privacy as I do. Yes sold £1k under two pseudonyms. I had a bad experience with Marconi shares a while back and swore never again to hesitate or ignore a heavy hint when one comes up. Likewise I dump all late payers unless there is an exceedingly good reason not to. One way and another this has saved me an awful lot of pain and loss. My motto is better jump when you can rather than at a point when you have your trousers around your ankles. In this case my attitude is that no business or group of businesses accidently gets into trouble with HMRC or cops a CCJ unless they are incompetent, stupid or going bust!

Macaroni, I got caught with that one too. I learnt never listen to the CFO of a business.

Yes sold £1k under two pseudonyms. You have two AC accounts? Yup. Could have three as I have three legitimate identities under the titles of "Mr", "Dr" and a third which might give my true identity away, so you must guess!

Nearly! However, it is something I don't normally use. It's a bit like have D.B. after your name which I normally interpret as D*gs B*ll*cks.

Is there anywhere on the system I can see accruals for loan parts I have sold? Chris. Not as far as I can see. You need to keep a note yourself of accrued interest at the point of sale, otherwise you'll lose it down the back of the sofa until it gets paid to you (in some future time!) ... another job for chris to look into?

Is it anything like a pair of shes? & Is it anything like playing card? when its received by the taxpayer. Is there anywhere on the system I can see accruals for loan parts I have sold? chrisI would find that would be fairly useful too.

It's on our to do list but is of lower priority compared to some of the other jobs on that list.

I had a bad experience with Marconi shares a while back and swore never again to hesitate or ignore a heavy hint when one comes up. Ah, I remember seeing that from the "inside". £14/16.something per share was the target that was being internally used to trigger bonuses and share options and stuff. Watching it sail gently down into pennies per share made the day go by quicker
