With the every expanding p2p market I am looking for a third option to zopa and ratesetter . Any thoughts on this would be welcome , before I get carried away with ratesetter I seem to be a duplicate of you having my main pot(so far) in Ratesetter, followed by Zopa....I picked these because of their track records and provision funds.
My third choice at the moment is trending towards Wellesley....it's a different market lending on property rather than to individuals, has an all important (to me) provision fund; hopefully never needed, and they are also very proactive on this forum.
Having said all that, they are a newcomer to the market and I would urge you to look at the website referred to above, and also the thread on investment options where I received some very sage advice.
Good luck in your investing decisions

Cautious My third choice is also leaning towards W , opened an account over a month ago and spoke to them too . Told me that they are changing there site to give more info on what's happening , which is probably why I like ratesetter setup .Have read there replies to questions on the forum and also like there terms and rates so might take the plunge .

<br> The collective knowledge on this forum about peer to peer lending is on par with Professor Stephen Hawking's knowledge of physics Who is notorious for making bets on how his predictions will come out (and so far I think he is losing). Which is I think very instructive, you don't have to be knowledgable so much as lucky.

Who is notorious for making bets on how his predictions will come ou (and so far I think he is losing). Which is I think very instructive, you don't have to be knowledgable so much as lucky. But he does apply rule 40 of One Sentence Financial Rules - Admit when you are wrong, and rule 26 - Change your mind as often as the facts change. Both of those attributes are as a important for a scientist as they are for an investor. Both pursuits try to make sense of the future based on only some of the truth abou the past.
