Is there specific times of day for new loans being listed on the site or is it just at random? Is it only Monday-Friday 9-5 that this happens or can it happen at weekends/out of normal business hours as well?
Apologies if this is a seemingly easy question, I am a bit new to all of this.
Thanks for any replies.

Very rare for a new loan to launch outside normal business hours (to about 7pm ish). Not entirely unknown in the distant past but not seen any do so since the Fixed Rate loans conversion.

Thanks Steve, is there any set hours/times that they do launch during the business week or is it just seemingly at random?

Rare to see many in the morning, although there can be the odd property loan. Morning SME loans tend to be Whole Loan rejects so buyer beware. Most appear between about noon and 7pm, either singly at random or in bunches, depending who has been tasked to sit out the ping-pong league that day to press the button.

I would say that 14:00 to 14:30 and 17:00 to 18:00 are times to watch for new loans.

lunchtime and early afternoon on workdays, seem most popular, I think they spend the mornings proof-reading the listings. If you are looking for new listings, if it's not there now you can turn your PC off until Tuesday lunchtime.

They have been known to launch a few on bank holidays, but not many - Monday is awfully slow anyway.
14:10 (ish) is prime time for listing the rejected whole loans from previous session (you can tell, the loan numbers are out of order).
I used to have a whole database, which I used for 'forward cashflow planning' (i.e. how many am I expecting to bid on in the next hour), but since auctions stopped, and I'm hardly bidding on anything, I ceased to update it. I don't believe I saw any launch on Saturday or Sunday (but a few have drawn down, i.e. turned into loans, at really stupid hours).

14:10 eh? So that's why I keep missing those E loans Actually it's 14:00 to 14:10, although hard to tell (after the fact) because when they release a batch of 'ex WL' loans they always stagger the close times by 10 minutes. I hadn't noticed you missing too many though. 8>.

AFAICT 7 day loans are not exactly 7 days and 0 hours so the finish times may not be significant. The only way that I know of to see the pattern of when loans launch is to examine the auction start times of individual loans, lots of them.

The only ones I have definitely seen not being 7 days (and being more, in various 10 minute increments) are the block-released ex-WL loans mentioned above. All the other do seem to be 7 days, to the accuracy I check to.
