Thought id ask the question will the eu/usa ttip agreement be good or bad for the uk. Personally i think bad. Ask me when it's agreed, and we know what the agreement actually IS. And don't forget to let me know what the alternative is. BTW, that Indie link is a personal opinion piece, not journalism.

A very good thing. If it happens and if we are part of it.
If we leave the EU we won't be part of it. But Brexit would probably kill it anyway because we are one of its strongest advocates within the EU.

IMO .. I am not fully confident that documents released by the gov, led by the man that lays claim to being the instigator of TTIP would necessarily give everyone the opportunity to form an independent opinion, journalistic pieces in opposition to gov opinions (propaganda) are also important to form an independent opinion.

as pointed out earlier, the negotiations are still ongoing (in secret, mostly) Not that secret... trade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/docs/2016/april/tradoc_154480.pdftrade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/press/index.cfm?id=1230Government documents can only be released under strict legal conditions. Opinion pieces in newspapers are those which are not sufficiently unbiased to actually be called journalism. Nobody knows yet what would happen if we leave the EU - because the first step after the referendum result will be to START a long and undoubtedly tortuous process of negotiation with the EU as to how we would deal with them in the future. That's going to take years before we actually leave. We won't wake up on 24th (or even 25th) June and hear headlines saying "You voted, so we've left already." Then there would be the process of negotiating a UK-US trade deal - with whoever the president is then. And the US have said they won't be starting that until TTIP's finished. If and when those negotiations do start (would Trump even be bothered?), then you can bet they'll start by the US handing the UK a copy of the ratified TTIP and a marker pen and saying "Right, show us why we shouldn't just start from this..."

The link below seems to be a fairly unbiased view of TTIP explaining (i think) what is known so far. fullfact.org/europe/TTIP/
