And I hope you took this with a large pinch of salt also.

You could start a nasty circle, take out a loan, loan it to REBS, tell them you were let down by a person who owes you money and you'll pay when they do..... touche

Thanks for all the work that has gone into this thread. I having been keeping an eye on ReBs for some time and see very very few positive comments. I think I will be staying clear of this platform.

I lead a sad life and need to get out more.

I went through the loan book this morning and found 33 loans that were at least 3 months overdue. This is the official length for a default. 

Their is listed 224 applications. Some are duplicates and some loans have been repaid or cancelled by the borrower.

I had a default on a loan more than 8 months ago, and they have posted no update on their website for at least 3 months.

I have never received any email update.

Hardly a great example of good communication when it comes to recovery.

I thought my post should be moved to defaults rather than being posted elsewhere.


We have lent in the region of 1.6 million pounds to the 35 companies that have defaulted on their loans. If we take all the outstanding payments , including interest we are owed in the region of 1.8 million pounds.

The combined received payments from the 35 loans in default including interest is in the region of 500 k .

This figure is out of a total loan book of 10.2 million or 10.5 million. See p2pindependentforum.com/thread/6902/stats-suppose-accurate
