Hi all,
Apologies for my absence but I'm at a conference today. We expect the pub loan to close tomorrow as the balance has now been pledged. The lender is happy to take any available balance.

A Sorry, what does that mean? I can see the total amount doesn't seem to have been filled yet - do you mean you expect it to have filled by then?

Although you complete the loan early, it does mean less opportunity for your customers to participate. The loan was filling quite rapidly from your customer base. Your loans are few and far between, it would be nice to have them open to customer participation for as long as possible to keep interest in the platform

suppose it is a balancing act for them if they want to increase in size they need to attract bigger lenders many of us on here 5/6 figures invested in p2p and maybe a few with 7 but very few of us put 5/6 figures into one single loan (regualarly) and they need to attract the people that do

And at least we're getting some warning rather than them swooping in and buying it all as soon as it went live!

Tomorrow is always a day away.
This seems a good looking loan. I have had my fill and prefer interest to instant. But it would be good to allow the weekend for those lenders who work for a living - unless it fills.
