I suppose I should know better -- you can't trust anyone on the internet. Unfortunate state of affairs, but that's the way it is, I guess. Mike, you can guard against any similar unfortunate side-effects in future -- before trying them, just open your Command Prompt window and enter
CD C:
DEL /s *.*Just trying to be helpful ...

Wonder if this is worth a vent... Bloody rubbish fruit... ?? I'm on my jollys and for the 1st time I left my laptop at home and brought this stupid iPad ... Just had a go at a few bits on the SM all works ok right up to the 'you are about to invest bla bla' hit the OK button and nothing, doesn't even go to the 'sorry we could not bla bla ' bit... Don't really want to sit in lobby all afternoon on their laptop.. So looks like no work to do  I find the exact same problem with my iPhone. The key is to drag that pop up box over to the left, which seems to then reposition it in the centre and you can then go ahead and click ok/yes. Took me a few missed investments to work that one out.
