In view of the 'can't sell for 7 days if in debit' rule, I wonder if we can figure out what the impact on prefunding levels might be by asking the audience .. anyway, it'll be fun to try (sorry @cooling_Dude, you weren't around). This really only applies to loans over £1m, where you are into percentage allocation (probably!). I hope we don't have too many answer 5s from the forum members! I'll adjust the poll if we get lots of sensible 'Others'. 8>.

It's going to be hard to determine whether changes in pre-funding levels are driven by the new "7 day rule" or the fact that PBL20 is now Defaulted

I have decreased pre-funding a bit on some of the current loans (those in the £1-3m category) purely because some of the mega over-bidders may be deterred. But even though I have over-bid myself (like many of us) I have never done so to the extent that I have needed to sell any excess. In fact I usually end up buying more on the SM in the following day or two. So my approach hasn't changed, just an adjustment to my view of over-funding.

Yes, I missed an option (and if there is a way to edit a poll, I'm blowed if I can find it!) .. maybe some MORE pre-funding requests will arise, because people can no longer sit back safe in the knowledge that an excess is bound to show up on the SM in the next couple of days, and they can buy what they want there.
