I have similar amounts invested but as I don't need to guarantee a monthly income from my investments have started looking at other platforms for 6 monthly investments. I've always managed to pick up a reasonable amount each month on the daytime SM.
If I remember correctly though pre funding doe not guarantee a higher loan part on loans below 1 million. Everyone who pre funds justs get the same % (as long as you have prefunded at least that amount) or something similar

Would of been helpful if Savingstream sent out a courtesy email when they knew these loans were not going live.God knows If it will happen today

In fact, I would have thought it almost essential when handling 100mill of other people's money  I don't know... big fan of SS here, but recently their comms has been bordering on appalling. They have taken on more staff, but it seems comms were better when it was just Liam & Tim

If we assume that there was some paperwork glitch yesterday, it is difficult to think that could be resolved today so I'm betting 1/2 choccy bar that it won't go live today either and we might just hear something on Monday. Except Monday is a bank holiday (perhaps even in Portsmouth) so it could just be Tuesday.

When I was working as a paid slave of industry, I looked forward to bank holidays but now in retirement, we pensioners don't get a day off for bank holidays any more! It is just not fair!! Each day is much like the last one - I have to make a special effort to remember weekends usually by the drop in traffic on this forum lol LW

Bank holidays are the days you DON'T want to go to all the places you can enjoy going to during the week. 8>. (Which is why I am sat here typing I guess .. no, tell a lie, I'm just off to a nature reserve).

So what I am getting from this topic; my pre-funding of £5k on each is optimistic at best. I have been with SS a little over a month now and in that time I have managed to get £25k invested across various loans mostly thanks to other people "gaming" I had been working night shift which allowed me to be online just after mid-night and picked up quite a bit there. Now that I am on days and unlikely to go back to nights I am relying on pre-funding alone. I intend to pump another £10k in over the next few weeks. Longer term I wish to invest £1K a month. Is this a realistic target or should I consider other investments? Sorry for hi-jacking this topic but I got side tracked and didn’t think my question was worth its on topic. Apologies if I am mistaken. Chris. You won't get 5k into the two tiddlers that are about to go live. Going forwards 1k a month is realistic. Historically, about 4 loans a month is about normal. You should easily be able to pre fund 1k into those.

I think you can easily get £1k a month into loans via the SM, depending on how picky you are about what you will buy. Being around after midnight is definitely a plus.

Recently loans have quite often not gone live on the date that SS have suggested, and usually go live the next day. I think the extended delay is simply because it's a bank holiday weekend. However... lack of comms... that's what is starting to really bug me. Not even an e-mail to provide an explanation
