I see that reply notifications are only sent once per day. Is there any chance of changing this to one instant email until the topic is visited again, as any conversation will be slow unless participants think to log in frequently.  |

Also if notifications could be turned on or off on a per-thread basis, so you can follow a discussion, or stop following if it goes off-topic from your original interest.

Yup, notifications seem to be once a day, however for Bookmarks ("Actions" menu at the top of the thread, "Bookmark") will send you an email immediately the first time that thread is updated. The email doesn't include the full text, which isn't ideal, but at least you can see the thread has been updated. You also only get one email per thread. I'll have a look and see if I can get the full text in the email at least.
Edited to add: you need to turn on email notifications for "when a bookmark is updated" in "Profile" | Edit Profile | Notifications.

And check your spam folder(s) obviously! Automated emails like this often get misfiled ass spam.
