After many years as a customer I am now required to verify my Bank Account.
Being FC the Verification failed (After all the Bank account has only been running 35 years, and has been the only account used here)
Step 2 was to upload a Bank statement, which also failed and entered a login loop.
Yet again an untested change is unleashed on the world.

That is unfair. They are testing it. You are their unpaid tester. Many times I have used the website and realised that they don't actually test things before putting them up. KT

Well, I have done the job for them. I sent the details by email and they were processed quickly, and also reported the problem has been fixed. Trial withdrawal has been made.
A verified account is an improvement, one day we may see them follow a 'get it right first time' philosophy.

I just tried this and had to re-register the bank account they have had for four years. First attempt they told me the bank sort code requirement was four figures and wouldn't let me put in six. ****holes!!
Second attempt was straightforward - Feeble Communications realised there are six figures in a bank sort code, and I managed to withdraw funds.

My bank details also disappeared today. When I attempted to re-enter the details I was refused and was asked for verification. I have had the same bank account for 36 years!

My personal bank account was verified automatically within a few seconds. However, my company account required a statement upload.

Must be too many of us getting too much money out too easily?

Must be too many of us getting too much money out too easily? I wondered that. I've been making lots of withdrawals recently.

Confession: Me too, about 35 years. My bank gives me nothing - even less these days with my nearest branches closing, interest rates reduced to nothing. And so I give them nothing in return. But they have always run my complex current account very efficiently (online and at no cost) and I am of the "if it works don't fix it" brigade. But I am always open to persuasion. A discussion here maybe ..... Apart from that, yes to all the above.

Yup, same here. Lloyds for over 30 years and no plans to change. I've paid them nothing (ever), they pay me 4% interest on my Current A/C balance and their on-line and mobile banking works just fine. I avoid speaking to / visiting them like the plague and expect nothing beyond a competent Current A/C banking service, which they've always delivered. Whilst there's little to be gained, there's little reason to switch. Contrast that with my gas/electricity supplier, which I must have changed a dozen times in the last 20 years.

It worked first time for me and I have withdrawn about 80% of my holding in the last few months.
In recent years, banks have paid me £100s to open new accounts, I currently have different accounts for various benefits including 6% regular saver, 3% on balance up to £20k, 0% currency commission, and bundled travel insurance/mobile insurance/breakdown cover at a far lower cost than elsewhere.
I was not a particularly fast learner on this subject but corporations have taught me that loyal customers get bad deals.
