Hi, are funds credited on a weekend or just Monday to Friday? I have some how managed to set up a standing order for a Sunday, I will change it but this one's already left my account

No need to change your standing order though; it just won't register on you SS account until Monday mornings.

It does seem a bit archaic that money takes so long to show if deposited after 1700 Friday. I know they are not unique in this, but still tiresome.

It may be inconvenient that you can't see the funds in your account but it doesn't stop you funding loans with the cash. You'll have a negative balance overnight but this will be resolved before SS send out the chasing emails.

Why bother with a standing order? Just transfer money across as you need it. You get 48 hours to pay it in so more then enough time to arrange it and with the way loans are launched you never know how much you will need anyway.
