Hi, I'm relatively new to this p2p game, but like you all, I'm looking for somewhere to invest £5k and get decent return, any recommendations. RS rates seem to be dropping like bricks, SS seems ok but been there already and want to spread my hard earned dough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated  ? |

Read some of the forums, try a small amount (that you can afford to lose or be locked up for a while) in a few of the different sites to get a feel of how they work and decide which suit you before going further - there's no right answer for everyone as we all have different requirements and risk appetites. Moneything probably appears on most of our favourite lists tho. Edit archie beat me to it, but proves my point I think  |

Bonus clearing first, then diversify fully into non bonus platforms imo.

I've visited a couple of P2P lenders recently and their offices smell of bubble (I had a 20yr career in IT so I'm used to this sort of thing).
I've been finding better value in stocks recently, although I have been putting a bit more into MoneyThing.

Glaxo has done ok since I bought 100 at 1253...
Should have bought more at that price but hey ho ^_~
