We are likely to set up our own forum in the future so that we can integrate it directly into our site, but we'll always support this independent forum as we believe it to be a first rate resource for our lenders.

Can you please explain the advantages of this? I have enough trouble finding the time to follow the discussion here. Having another forum to follow would produce information overload for me.

I agree - please don't set up a separate forum - it would just duplicate discussions unnecessarily and create a monitoring nightmare for me.

Is it possible that AC could have a Blog where announcements were made from on the front page? I agree another full on forum would be too much, Atleast for the moment.

And another plea for no AC hosted forum. Whilst on holiday for the last couple of weeks I had a quick skim read of this forum each day, but ignored both ThinCats forum completely. And I've ignored the FC forum for many many months now. I, like many others on here, invest in multiple P2x platforms and value the concentration of discussion of most platforms onto this single site.

Do AC staff really want to be answering the (possible) same questions on two parallel forums? It won't all be possible via copy/paste.

Even if having an AC forum meant that there could be more open discussion of loans because it was only viewable by registered lenders when logged in, I would probably frequent this forum simply because like so many others I invest across a number of platforms and having discussions in one place makes it a lot easier. Also because I am a member of a number of other forums (I have other interests outside of P2P) based on the proboards platform I run their app which makes easy viewing when I am out and about. If anything I would like a AC app for Android rather than an AC forum.

I'd be surprised if access to an AC forum would be so limited. Surely AC would want the forum accessible to potential investors as well as committed ones. As such, I don't think it would result in more open discussion of loans -- or fewer asterisks!

The asterisks! are there due to decisions from mods on this forum, so you don't know if Assetz will take the same view.

I too would not want another forum. It would struggle to gain traction and it would weaken this one, The strength of this forum makes Assetz stand out from the growing number of metoos, why would you want to rock that boat?
Set up your own forum if the mods take their eye off the ball and this one becomes an embarassment

I like ton's Blog suggestion. Hopefully, Assetz would be able to point people in the direction of this forum. It took me some months to find the old indie forum from oblique references on the official FC site.

I don't like the idea of another forum. You certainly need to upgrade your communication channels to Joe Public so why not a blog as ton suggests?

There possibly should be a mention of this forum on Assetz main website so that new members are aware of these discussions.
It would of been helpful for new Assetz members to know of isues durring implementing on AI in that at one time the whole site was down and then later in the day the whole Assetz site was down due to rackspace problems. Chris was then able keep forum members updated as to what was happening.
I am also with FC and having two forums is hopeless in that important information has to be duplicated

I agree with just having this forum.
I can keep up to date on here with AC, W&C and RS; I barely ever look at the Z forum now but might do if its only "home" was on here.
