Your responsibility for posted content

The forum mod team are aware that over recent days comments on a number of the threads on the SavingStream board on this forum have verged towards libel with respect to both Lendy Ltd (t/a SavingStream and t/a Lendy Finance etc.) and at least one borrower (its directors and/or shareholders).

As a reminder, all posters on the forum are legally responsible for anything they post on this forum.  The apparent anonymity afforded to forum posters is just an illusion, and the forum admins will, on receipt of a valid legal request whether it is from a platform's legal advisors or regulatory authorities, disclose all relevant posts, email addresses, date stamps and IP addresses (including if appropriate from associated duplicate forum accounts).

Making anonymous unsubstantiated allegations or comments that imply wrong doing on an internet forum is neither helpful nor clever. Any evidence of wrong doing should be brought to the attention of the regulatory authorities in the first instance, and thereafter perhaps consulting the forum admin team as to the best way of disseminating that evidence to forum members might be sensible.

Needless to say, any platform smearing a competitor platform risks exposure and severe damage to its reputation, over and above any legal implications.

For the avoidance of doubt this post has not been triggered by any complaint or legal request for disclosure, only an awareness on the part of the mod team that such requests would be entirely reasonable based on recent discussion on the SS board.
