Right , so are these loans actually going live today or not ? It's now 6.45pm here in the UK, so presumably not ?? Or do SS sometimes release loans very late in the day ?? If SS are now planning NOT to release the loans today, then some sort of communication would be very nice indeed, thankyou very much SS  The previous loan (PBL105) went live at 6:36pm, so they do work late... Got the feeling though we may be waiting until tomorrow for these. Well, whenever they go live, they have certainly caused chaos.

Maybe they are waiting for the prefund levels to reach the loan amount? Best of luck with that for them - I'm currently: 400 115 400 113 100 112 100 114 But I keep chopping and changing

The delay maybe due to unprecedented quantity of the loans going live at once.

so .... false alarm ... a lot of bit-chomping and part-churning. No doubt many are  and just as many are . Let no-one say being on the good ship SS is boring !! from the email just now -
"This is due to technical improvements that we wish to make to the platform overnight in order to handle investor demand more efficiently."
I sure hope it works ! Once that button gets pressed tomorrow those servers are gonna get a hammering ! |

Well, we now know the stated reason "technical improvements that we wish to make to the platform overnight", however, I wouldn't be surprised if they have underwriting lined up if necessary too, and I don't imagine this would stop them launching, they may just drip feed some in over time as they have before.

It's a shame they didn't know they they were going to make technical improvements to the site tonight when they sent the go-live notice yesterday..........sounds like BS.

So now we know the extensions have been granted, that makes some of these look quite decent. Again, the DD on the companies behind this is useful but ultimately it comes down to whether the security is solid. For a few of these, it looks very good to me. Have those that set prefunding to zero changed their minds at all? Even with the loan extensions confirmed, two of those still look rather overpriced
114 the 1 bed flat with small bedroom and shower room (no bath) valued at £1.375m in the SW corner of Mayfair
107 the 2 bed flat in Chelsea a mile from nearest underground / rail station at £3.25m which is the highest valuation of the lot
but I'll admit I'm biased as I feel that most of Chelsea is overpriced. 108 (also Chelsea) is much better positioned on the boundary with Belgravia

It will be interesting to see how many cancel their SM sales - there's a fair amount of interest to be lost over night for some of the bigger hitters. No need, I believe they implemented their proposal that you no longer lose / stop accruing interest when a loan put on sale. Not verified myself, but it was posted here. I have a small amount near the front of a very large Q, so I may end up testing it myself tonight if it doesn't sell before midnight.

Frustrating, but the Saving Stream platform has been slow all day, so that slowness might indicate a problem. Sometimes things crop up that can't be accounted for. I have sold a load of parts for this new funding, that is the way it goes. Hopefully tomorrow, the loans will go live.
