yorkshireman you quoted my link then made no reference to it - do you think NF is a total embarrassment or do you approve of his behavior at the summit? Do you think he or JCJ is going to "win" the best deal here ... he is not doing UK (inc brexiters) any favors by winding everyone up is a schoolboy manner and he should really stay away now I wouldn't disagree with your views on this particular NF performance, UKIP as a party needs to become more professional and credible in order to be capable of speaking and acting for the millions of ordinary people who have been betrayed by the elites and LibLabCon politicians. If you read your link thoroughly, you will find the interview in which Owen Paterson refers to Project Hysteria therefore my post was relevant to yours.

I think after all the insults and derision Nigel Farage has suffered in the European Parliament over the years he was entitled to his "I told you so" moment just this once. Now he needs to get down to the serious business of making this work.

There is no intention at all to ban brexit debate where it relates to ficscal and monetary policy and its effects on investments (shares, p2p, currency, interest rates etc etc) and even on specific industries. There are numerous issues that are worthy of debate, and single threads to focus on particular issues seems a more contructive way of progressing. So a single thread on just on brexit vs fisheries policy or a single thread on brexit vs gibralter for example. We have asked multiple times now for volunteers to moderate just the brexit threads, but not a single response. The effort that goes into moderating this forum is far greater than most people realise, and general politics threads which have minimal direct bearing on investment strategy are read by a very small minority of forum members, but take up the majority of the moderators time. The chat section of the forum is provided as a bit of "fun" alongside the heavier financial discussions, but reading the brexit threads on the chat section this year has not been fun. captainconfident I'm interrupting my holiday to post this. As I said earlier in the year, there comes a point when the moderation team may be forced to close the forum completely as a result of those few forum members who struggle to understand how to apply the forum rules.
