Somewhere in a cramped room, possibly living in PBL 119 is a man hunched cackling over a pile of photographs. Storefronts, palm trees, cars, bodies of water, numbers and the dreaded street signs. Any crisp, clear photograph is disdainfully disregarded. He looks for the smudged, the faded. He visualises the blood, sweat and tears of prospective purchasers, as they pour over his ever more fiendish captchas. Is that dot a corner of a street sign, or a speck of dirt on my phone? Is that a 'body" of water, or the sun shining on a store front? Fingers hover with indecision The bold move swiftly and then howl as their efforts are rejected and they have to try again. Finally success, only to see the loan now stands at zero. Saving Stream members" dreams are haunted by the photographs from the camera of the fiendish Senor Captcha.

Excellent, I can just feel your frustration.
I don't even try with there stupid games any more. It's part of my DD regime now, if I get a Craptcha, it means I shouldn't invest!!.......and I feel far more relaxed!

I can live with not being fast enough; it is the sheer blurring of the pictures that gets me. Some are very indistinct. Also, another problem bad enough to nearly drive one insane is when you have to do street numbers. They just keep coming, however many you ferociously dispatch.

It helps if you look at 'em thru' 2 jam jars.....here's a tip if you want an advantage, leave the jam in, (but that's just between me and you)

There is a "report captcha" button where you can complain about that; you'll miss out on getting that specific captcha validation within the next few seconds, but might possibly have some small influence on improving the quality for next time. Edit: with (at time of writing) about 4 dozen loans with a quantity readily available to buy, isn't it a bit early for the whines about captchas to be restarting though - surely we're still on the whining about slow selling phase of the cycle?

Blimey. I don't think you could call my post a whine.

IIRC, there was some suggestion/hint a couple of weeks ago that SS may be going to unleash an alternative solution (or maybe £12m of property loans all at once WAS the solution?).

I surprised the spelling/grammar police haven't had a go at you for your spelling of "Señor"......perhaps they had a w/e off!! Reminds me of Manuel correcting Basil......."No, no, no, Mr Fawlty, not, on those trays. Uno, dos, tres."
