Apologies if this is a duplicate thread, the board search function is not working for me today. Are any other gmail users having issues with missing emails? I am occasionally getting sold notifications go astray. Other emails seem ok. I have raised a ticket with SS, the first time they did not see a problem (said the mails were logged as sent). I have added the new missing emails to my ticket. It's an ongoing issue that's been discussed regularly on this forum. SS have advised before that they are having trouble with some ISPs blocking their e-mails before they get to the inbox, but that doesn't affect Gmail users. Others, including Gmail users, have confirmed that they also regularly don't receive the e-mails and are not blocked by the ISP. SS have never clarified (to my knowledge) why these other e-mails are so hit and miss, but there was a suspicion it was a database issue. Let us know what (if any) response you get from SS

Apologies if this is a duplicate thread, the board search function is not working for me today. It's not working for me either. Its been raised with the rest of the mod and admin team, hopefully we can get it sorted although it might be a Pro Board issue. With regard to the emails, it seems there may be issues again as other members have reported some problems. I'm not entirely sure how the long standing issues were ever solved really, it just seemed that fewer people flagged them. Personally I've not had any issues in recent times, except for pre-funding emails turning up 24+ hours later after the 9 London loans went out.

From inspecting the mail headers, SS appear to use at least three different methods of sending mail: -"loan part funding"/"loan part sold"/"withdrawal request" are sent via the mail service Mailgun which should be pretty reliable. If they're not arriving then either SS's server isn't telling Mailgun to send them or Mailgun is failing to deliver them for some reason, which SS should be able to monitor on the Mailgun website. -"withdrawal confirmation" (and maybe others) is sent directly from a SS server, these are probably more likely to get caught by spam filters and seem to be the ones that often go missing. -mails that aren't specific to a single account (loan repayment, go-live notice) are sent via a MailChimp mailing list which should also be fairly reliable. Gmail should never completely block anything from any source. Even if they know a mail contains a virus they still just put it in your Spam folder, and I can't imagine they consider SS mails to be even worse than that...

I generally don't have a problem receiving SS emails into my Gmail account. I didn't receive the latest update email however.

I never received an update email this week either if there was one. I have always received the general update emails in the past but I didn't get anything this week.
I have sold quite a few bits in the last couple of weeks and I noticed that on some occasions I got a loan part sold email and there were definitely one or two other occasions when I hadn't received anything and was then surprised to see in my account that they had sold.
The other strange thing that happens to me now is when I do a withdrawal request I get the withdrawal processed email twice, and both emails are sent out at exactly the same time.
So it looks to me like the system is sending some emails out twice and others not at all. My email is a Yahoo one.

I received three deposit confirmation emails too. They really are three too, as they were sent at subtly different times. Perhaps someone in SS towers thinks that this increases the chances of emails arriving for those who have previously received none. The big disappointment is that the money was only credited once. Sorry you missed out on the fun, adrianc.
