I’m currently in the process of progressing my dissertation which is entitled ‘The Growth of Peer to Peer Lending in Development Finance; Risk or Opportunity?’. The research project aims to understand the opportunities and risks that P2P finance represents in the context of Development Financing. As front line investors, your views and opinions are invaluable, therefore I’m asking for a commitment of less than 3 minutes to complete a short survey and in return, should you wish, I will provide you the full benefit of the results collected. The survey requires no specific personal information and consists of only 14 questions. I'm keen to hear from anyone invested in loans which involve financing of land or buildings which include an element of construction or refurbishment backed by the security of the asset, PG’s etc..
The link is below and I’m more than happy to take questions and share my thoughts. Many Thanks

...I’m asking for a commitment of less than 3 minutes to complete a short survey It would be 3 minutes if questions 7 & 8 didn't return " This question requires one response per row" even when one response per row has been submitted (when using Firefox at least).
Yep, the form is broken (firefox, Win7) .. a bit more testing would have been a good idea.

please fix the form. the one answer per row columns are already populated with two checks (Safari/OSX) I've re-entered all answers and it still won't accept my answers. That's more than 5 minutes of my time wasted. Sorry

Yep, the form is broken (firefox, Win7) .. a bit more testing would have been a good idea. It works fine for me on my second go; the reason for the errors is because there are 2 unused columns on question 7 & 8, there are in fact only 3 options (Critical, Important & Not Important).I would suggest that anybody interested in seeing the results use a dummy e-mail.

Good detective work CD, but I still think the OP should fix it so there are no columns that you are not allowed to tick!

TBH GSV3MIaC , I think that you should think about removing the link; what makes me uncomfortable is the fact that some investors might use the same e-mail addy they use for SS, so this OP could be a long term phishing project (new user, first post, generic username...). I would be happier if the OP did not request our e-mail to see the results; instead, it would be better to publish any results on this thread.

I have removed the link and asked the OP to address the issue of the 'broken' form, and review their request to collect email addresses, suggesting some alternative ways to share their results either with participants or more widely. They do not appear to be on-line currently, but are free to re-post the link when the issues are addressed.

The research is being undertaken for a MSc dissertation in Property Finance at the University of Westminster in the UK.
If you do not wish to answer any of the questions please move on to the next.
I will publish the results on all boards once complete. The link is below.(please cut and paste in browser if it doesn't link automatically)

I am struggeling with the survey design of the first question already. It only allows me to select one option, not multiple.

I have been asked to give a bit more background about myself. For anyone interested: I’m a Chartered Building Surveyor by background and undertaking a research project as part of a Master’s Degree in Property Finance. The whole concept of P2P and Crowdfunding and linking this with Property I find fascinating. I’m an active member of all platforms related to development or bridging loans secured against property.(albeit my investments are very small and membership is in order to evaluate the functionality of the sites and examine the loans offered for investment) At the root of the research is the ability of P2P platforms to take a share of mainstream lending and the challenges that will be faced. I’ll have finished the Dissertation by early September and as previously mentioned will be happy to share the findings. So far I have the thoughts and opinions of 40 Investors out of the 1500 active members on the site giving this survey a 2.6% success rate. If I could get a few more responses it would really help in identifying firm trends. The Link is goo.gl/forms/8PthrKIy86IRQiao2
