Hi all,
Is it just me or has the Saving Stream site changed back to its previous set up, as now I am unable to see the cancel sale option under my selling loans tab? Is there an alternative way for me to cancel my sale please?

Is there an alternative way for me to cancel my sale please? Everything looks fine to me. I just tried selling a loan part and was successfully able to cancel it. Make sure you go to the "Selling Loan parts" TAB, where it will list all your for sale loan parts and gives you the button to cancel them. Failing that try a different browser (and if that works, clear the cookies in you current browser).

Hi CD,
And thanks for your reply. I don't think I explained myself realy well. What I meant was that for a few days I have opened Saving Stream site to see a whole new bunch of tabs listed along the width of the site that enabled you to go straight to for example 'selling loans' etc. But now I only have the drop down box that the site previosly used and now when the selling loans page is opened i can not see neither the full sale queue or cancel button that's behind it, where as for a while I could. I have tried Opera, instead of Firefox but to no avail.

It did highlight SS have £17k in the garden centre!

Hi guys, I'm afraid I've not had any success with using screen grab but will give it another go later when I have time, although without being able to capture a picture of the site when it had all the other tabs on it will still leave me having to explain what the other site looked like. (the site that I thought was updated by SS to give improved usability and function that is). Thanks to you all for your help though, and I'm using my phone to access the site and cancel my sale parts!

The phone/tablet optimised site has had some issues in the past .. works much better on a PC, or if you can force it out of 'mobile mode' on your browser (not all sites and browsers do it properly when you tell them to though). Certainly working just fine on a windows PC.

The site layout completely changes if you adjust the width of your browser window (on devices that allow window width to be changed). If you go below some critical width, you get the layout that's designed to ruin the browsing experience for mobile users with good eyesight, as they are then forbidden from changing back to the normal layout...
Is that what you're seeing?

The cancel sale button is only available when all of your loan part is still available. As soon as someone buys even a penny, the cancel option disappears.

The cancel sale button is only available when all of your loan part is still available. As soon as someone buys even a penny, the cancel option disappears. Why? Probably because 'cancel sale' gives you back the same number loan part (with the same value), whereas at the point some is sold it would need to give you a completely new one with a new value. Could be done, but extra code. Of course at this point you can achieve the same effect by just purchasing whatever is left yourself. I suppose they could make 'cancel sale' do that for you, but there might be a race hazard then, where, by the time you bought, yours was all sold anyway.
