It seems that some people are begining to sell off their property loans post Brexit.
I have picked up several -2% premium & >130 days to go loans this morning.

My wife and I dumped most of our property holdings in P2P (a goodly six figure sum) three months back. Put most of our money into US$ and am now feeling rather happy with the outcome. I seem to remember that when I posted (either here or on SS) my intention to sell up, my post was met largely with derision. I have a nasty feeling that shortly -5% discount wont be sufficient to move some property loans and particularly so if the £ comes under increasing pressure.

Time to sell your dollars and think about your next stunt? No, not yet. Last time the £ bombed back in 1985 it cost me very dear. I had a lot of commitments tied up in future dated Yen Letters of Credit. I had to sell property in a falling market to meet my debts and that hurt like hell. This time I can see the £ testing under $1.20 to the £ over the next six months as negotiations start with Brussels. Just watched Mrs May get 199 votes in the Leadership Election. If she makes it to be PM I think she will make a totals b*lls of negotiating a deal for withdrawal from the EU. If you take a look at her negotiating achievements in the past you may get a clue as to what I mean. She screwed up the UK Boarder Force. Upset the Police at all levels and the Prisons don't look in too good a shape either. My Chrystal ball has just gone a little misty so I will give up surmising about the future and stick with my Good Old Us Dollars for a while yet. However silver does have its attractions!

Fair comment - looks like the Chuckle Sisters will fight it out, and it will be one hell of an achievement if the surrogate Boris (with a better haircut) can persuade enough members to overturn Mrs M's aspirations. Would our Andrea be tough enough to out-tough Germany's Angela, I wonder.
