I'm trying to test a withdrawal for the first time. I have ~£300 directly in the QAA and ~900 in the GBBA awaiting investment.
No matter what I try, I can't move any of these funds from either the GBBA or the QAA into the Cash Account - once I've keyed in the amounts into the form on the website, I eventually get an error message saying "SORRY THERE WAS AN ERROR PLEASE TRY AGAIN". I've now tried this a few times, with amounts as low as £1 - always getting this error.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem with the website?
thanks

There appears to be something up, chris, with trading in general - I have some money in my MLIA, targets/instructions set to buy on most loans, many (47) loans with units available, but nothing is biting. Frozen for some reason?

Resolved. One specific user account was ruining it for everyone! Fixed their account and located and fixed two others with the same issue.

Something like this happened a year or so ago; one account corrupted caused the system to stall.

Something like this happened a year or so ago; one account corrupted caused the system to stall. Both aftermarket sales and investing/withdrawing via the QAA queue are enacted within a single transaction, so if there's any failure of any description then the system rolls back to a known previous safe state prior to that transaction starting. This prevents errors cascading into each other and transient problems with one account causing it to lose out, which tend to be difficult to monitor for and detect amongst all the traffic in the system, but introduces other challenges such as complete system stalls when there's a persistent problem with even a single account and makes issues around deadlocking when operating in a highly concurrent environment more likely.
