Thanks. Could be others are in the queue ahead of me then. Just checked - they were both PBL005 actually but I only put them up for sale late this afternoon. When I started i was dipping my toes with small sums (£100) and I'm just finding my way about how the platform works so I feel more confident about using it and investing larger sums. I've got quite a lot of small investments so far and thought I'd try selling 2 small bits as an experiment and as a learning process really.
I'll check my a/c again in the morning.

Sounds like a good plan all round. The trouble with PBL005 is that since there are underwriter funds up you have to keep an eye on the amount available to try and judge whether there are normal lender funds ahead of you. There are likely to be more people than normal trying to sell it at the moment in order to free up funds for PBL006 which has a cash-back offer on it. It has been noted previously that it would be good if we could have some visibility of the queue so that we can assess how long it might take to sell in this sort of situation, but I'm guessing that's not such a simple change for them so it could take some time to come, if indeed it ever does. From my recollection of where PBL005 was down to, I'd say you probably aren't far from the front.

Just an update. My 2 small loan parts of PBL005 are showing as 100% sold this morning and so the money is available to me to withdraw or re-invest. It took 2 days for the parts to sell. I noticed yesterday that nearly all the money was being put into PBL006 and PBL005 was being starved of new funds as a result, but my bits have now sold so I'm happy.

Well done - I was watching the the PBL005 activity and wondering at what point you managed to sell. The other PBLs do still manage to sell when there is a cashback offer on a new loan (as you have now seen) but it does get a bit more difficult towards the end of the cashback offer when concentration turns more solidly to the cashback offer loan. For my part, I tried to pick up a bit more of the Lifeboat this morning, but SS had inadvertently left the investment restrictions in place so I found I couldn't. They immediately lifted them when I emailed about it, but it was too late as another buyer, who presumably wasn't up to the previous limit, had taken the lion's share of what was on offer. SS very promptly unwound my deposit for me though, so I wasn't too miffed.

The pieces of PBL005 I was selling were for £100 and £200. Since I put them up for sale only 3 new investments in PBL005 were made - £100, £100 and £750. It was the £750 investment this morning that made my 2 chunks turn to 100% sold. So can't be much money being taken out of PBL005 at present. Actually I was wrong when I said it took 2 days to sell my chunks. I put them up for sale on Wednesday afternoon and they were sold on Friday morning - so that's 1.5 days - not 2 days.
When some funds become available to me early next week I'm hoping to invest some of that on the SS platform to increase my investments through SS, depending on what loans are available.
I'm still a 'newbie' - I only made my first investment on SS last month but now I've had time to get to know how it all works and try everything out I'm finding it easy to use and quite flexible and I'm more confident about it.

'oo's left eight pence of my PBL2 unwanted? I may have to buy that back myself to complete my sale! Oh, minimum £100. How will that eightpence be sold so that I can be credited with the other £499.92? savingstream ? I think this came up before somewhere.

pepperpot Possibly so ... there's £300 for sale now, and I don't expect anyone put up £299.92 to aggregate to that figure. I'll check my account again in a while. (How long usually before our statement catches up with activity?)

Had a thought (my ration for the week). I only sold £200 of a £500 lump. Does that mean I get nothing until I put the rest of that £500 lump up for sale? (I have done that now anyway).

I put up four chunks PBL003 on Monday evening. All sold, apart from £0.45, which I bought back myself. A loan part for £0.45 appeared in my 'Total Live Loan Parts' but my 'Available Funds' was not updated with the value of the supposedly completed sale. Potentially interesting: I noticed yesterday that my £0.45 purchase had still not appeared in 'Recent Activity' Before sending a suitably 'grumpy' email I'd compiled this morning, I thought I would make one last check of my account. I found, approx. 40 hours after the sale completed, that my missing cash had now been credited!
